Mstislavl Butter and Cheese Plant OJSC increased export by 54.3% on the year in January-October 2007 to a total of $9 million, a company representative told Interfax.
The source attributes the growth to a rise in butter and cheese shipments to Moscow and St Petersburg, as well as an increase in exports of dried milk and casein to Germany, France, Japan and Singapore.
The company processes 230 tonnes of milk daily.
In January-October the company turned out 1,500 tonnes of butter, 1,100 tonnes of cheese and over 1,000 tonnes dried milk. The average monthly output was BYR 2.7 billion, the source added.
