Construction and assembly works at Glusk plant that will specialize in mushroom and berry deep freeze are underway, Interfax learnt from deputy chairman of Glusk District Administration Grigory Belyatski.
According to the source, the plant will be equipped with a five-chamber fridge with a capacity of 500 tonnes.
The cost of the construction project is BYR 8.1 billion (including BYR 3.5 billion that will come from the regional budget).
According to preliminary estimations, in 2008 the plant will produce BYR 6.3 billion worth of goods (760 tonnes of berries and 75 tonnes of mushrooms).
Within the framework of the project there will be created 34 jobs.
