April, 5 a new Visa Code of the European Union comes into force. The Code is supposed to change the rules of visiting the EU countries. The information is provided by Elena Kravtsova, the senior inspector of Oktyabrsky ROVD of Mogilev.
According to her, Article 12 of the Code states that a citizen who is willing to visit the UN countries must have the passport of the citizen of Belarus with the expiry date of three months more after leaving the UN. A passport must have at least two empty pages. The passport must be issued not longer than 10 years ago.
Those who want to visit the UN countries after April,5 and have to change their passports are keep in mind that it will take about a month.
