November 12-13 Mogilev holds the Belarusian-Polish Economic Forum. The information is announced at the press-conference of Mogilev regional executive committee. The organizer of the forum is the economy committee.
The Polish delegation consists of representatives of official and business circles and headed by the deputy Internal Affairs Minister of Poland KonradPavlik. The program includes a plenary sitting, visit to the leading enterprises of the FEZ Mogilev and production facilities located in districts.
Chargé d'affaires of the Republic of Poland to Belarus Mikhail Habros says that the joint economic forum is a result of agreements reached within the meeting with head of Mogilev regional authorities Vladimir Domanevsky. In his words, the main focus of cooperation is on food processing since delivery of fruit and vegetables is the biggest article of the Polish export.
EvgenyYakimov, head of the investment and innovations regional office, says that the event will reveal possibilities and prospects of joint agribusiness projects. The forum will show a potential of Mogilev region through a specially created catalogue presenting about 400 projects.
Special attention will be paid to the southeast of Mogilev region. Thanks to the President’s decree, Klimovichi, Kostyukovichi, Krasnopoliye, Krichev, Slavgorod, Khotimsk and Cherikov districts have created a number of preferences which might attract Polish partners.
November 12-15 the Rodina Cinema holds the days of the Polish films, a retrospective show of Krzysztof Krauze’s films.
