OJSC “Mogilev meat-packing plant” has launched a new Italian line of pelmeni production. It cost EUR 1.6 mln to purchase the equipment. The new line, having the production capacity of 1,000 kg per hour, has replaced the old one that had operated during 30 years.
“New line launching will promote improving the quality of pelmeni, widening assortment, reducing expenses and energy consumption, thus making pelmeni cheaper and more competitive at both domestic and foreign markets”, - specialists told.
Pelmeni will be produced under a new brand “Mir vkusa” (“World of taste”) and will have different forms – roses, squares, etc.; they will be packed into polyethylene packs of 300 gr – 1 kg. Only natural ingredients will be used, thus promoting pelmeni to have the taste of those home-made ones.
“The plant’s administration follows the policy of modernisation, thus making its production more competitive, improving its quality, extending the market. In its turn all of these lets increase profit, as well as wages and welfare of its employees”, - Petr Rudnik told at the ceremony of line’s launching.
