The old building of MSU named after A. Kuleshov in Pervomaiskaya St. opened after 2-year reconstruction. The building became 1 storey higher; now each department – Geography, Biology, and Chemistry – has its own storey, and the last storey houses laboratories.
“The building appears to be constructed anew, because only the walls remained old”, - the rector of Mogilev State University named after Arcady Kuleshov told during the opening ceremony.
20 spacious lecture halls with new furniture and modern equipment are at the disposal of teachers and students. According to the chairman of Mogilev regional executive committee Peter Rudnick, it is to contribute to students’ involvement into developing of Belarusian economy through conducting applied researches and diploma projects.
