Osipovichi Automobile Aggregates Plant produced BYR 56.8 billion worth of goods in January-May 2008, or 21.4% up on the year, a company representative told Interfax.
Over the period in question the company exported $1,150,000 worth of commodities, or 22% up.
The source attributes the growth to a large-scale modernization company.
The plant was founded in 1976 as part of MAZ production association. It makes goods from glass-reinforced plastic, polyurethane foam, aluminium alloy. The major consumers of the plant are MAZ, BelAZ, Gomselmash, Motovelo, Belkommunmash, Mogilevtransmash.
The company makes over 2,500 kinds of goods. The output of consumer goods (retail trade stalls, boats, sport commodities, furniture accessories) grew 53.6% in January-May.
