Osipovichi Dairy Factory OJSC increased exports 1.5-fold in January-May 2008, bringing it to $7.6 million, a company representative told Interfax.
The source attributes the growth to a recent rise in exports to the Russian Federation, mainly Moscow and St Petersburg. Over the period in question the company tripled exports to Russia. Minor shipments on dried milk were sent to Japan, Egypt, Singapore and Poland.
Currently, the Osipovichi Dairy Factory processes 400 tons of milk daily. The company's produce is sold in Osipovichi, Bobruisk, Glusk, Klichev, Gomel, Svetlogorsk.
The company produces around 70 kinds of foodstuffs, including whole milk products, dried milk, butter, hard cheese.
In August 2006 the company has introduced ISO-9001 quality management system, the source reported.
In January-May 2008 Osipovichi Dairy Factory manufactured BYR 23.5 billion worth of goods, or 21.8% up on the year.
Osipovichi Dairy Factory was founded in 1978. It was incorporated in 1995. Currently, the company has affiliates in Glusk, Klichev and Bobruisk. It occupies 600 people.
