Osipovichi Dairy Factory OJSC increased exports by 59.8% in January-August 2007, bringing it to $13.1 million, a company representative told Interfax.
The source attributes the growth to a recent rise in exports to the Russian Federation, mainly Moscow and St Petersburg.
In January-August 2007 the company exported 621 tons of butter (91% of the output), 281 tons of hard cheese (84%) and 895 tons of dried milk (almost 1005).
Currently, the Osipovichi Dairy Factory processes 380 tons of milk daily. The company’s produce is sold in Osipovichi, Bobruisk, Glusk, Klichev, Gomel, Svetlogorsk.
The company produces around 80 kinds of foodstuffs, including whole milk products, dried milk, butter, hard cheese.
In August 2006 the company has introduced ISO-9001 quality management system, the source reported.
In January-August 2007 Osipovichi Dairy Factory manufactured BYR 40.9 billion worth of goods, or 12.3% up on the year.
Osipovichi Dairy Factory was founded in 1978. It was incorporated in 1995. Currently, the company has affiliates in Glusk, Klichev and Bobruisk. It occupies 570 people.
