Over 30 young tennis players took part in the children’s open national tennis tournament

Mogilev held the children’s open national tennis tournament. The event was initiated by the Republican Public Organization “Belaya Rus” (Leninsky housing area of Mogilev) and “Kosmos-kort”.

The competition was held within the framework of the action “Belaya Rus for Kids”. The idea was to popularize and develop tennis in Belarus.
Over 30 young tennis players from Bobruisk, Gomel, Grodno, Mogilev and Minsk took part in the tournament. The winners of the under 10 years old age group are Anton Kostenich and Anna Blinovskaya from Mogilev. Mark Pashukevich (Minsk) and Alexandra Lebedeva (Mogilev) won in the age category of under 12 years old.

According to the coordinators of the event, the competition is expected to become a traditional and annual one in Mogilev. The tournament has already been included into the official calendar of the Belarusian tennis Federation.
