According to the public opinion research (2008) 41% of the interviewed trust Mogilev region militia, 4,2% up in the comparison with 2007. Fyedor Baleiko, the head of the Interior Department of Mogilev Regional Administration, told at the press conference.
The feeling of security increased by 10,8%. Though distrust rate is decreasing, 7,4% of the population do not trust regional militia, 41,1% of them don’t feel safe. People are rather critical to Interior offices’ mistakes. A third of the interviewed confessed militia’s disability to fight alcoholism and alcohol home-distilling effectively. Almost a fourth of the interviewed noted a high level of corruption. Every fifth citizen is not satisfied with traffic safety.
