Petr Rudnik wished the youth to deserve heroes’ memory

The ceremony of handing passports to 16-year girls and boys was held today at Mogilev Regional Local Lore Museum; it was a part of “We are Belarus’ citizens” All - Belarusian action, dedicated to the Day of Constitution of the Republic of Belarus.

It was not by accident to choose Mogilev Regional Local Lore Museum as a place of the ceremony, as far as the year of 2011 is marked with the 70th anniversary of Mogilev city’s heroic defence from German – fascists invaders.

The 20 young girls and boys – excellent students of №№1,2,3 Mogilev regional lyceums – were handed their main documents – passports of the Republic of Belarus – by the chairman of Mogilev region executive committee Petr Rudnik. The governor congratulated them with this remarkable event that promotes the youth with a deeper feeling of being an integral part of the Belarusian society and state.
