Representatives of Russian federal and regional mass media met with the administration of Mogilev Region on Tuesday, an in reporter informs.
A group of 82 Russian journalists arrived in Mogilev Region on a two day visit. Vice governor Anatoly Glaz informed them about the social and economic development of the area, the implementation of several state-sponsored programs and economic co-operation between the region and Russian Federation.
The Russian delegation also learnt about the demographic situation in the region, social security system and efforts aimed at alleviation of the consequences of the Chernobyl tragedy.
Within the framework of the stay Russian reporters are expected to visit a number of industrial enterprises in Mogilev and Bobruisk, as well as several farms in Bykhov, Bobruisk and Osipovichi districts.
