Sergey Evtushenko, a pupil of the Ecology Education Centre, took a bronze medal at the International Olympics in Turkey. The correspondent of the site learnt about it at the Education Department of Mogilev Regional Administration.
May, 24-27 2009 teenagers and young people from 40 countries took part in the 17th International Olympics in INEPO in Istanbul. The representatives of 13-19 year old age-group from Azerbaijan,Albania, Belarus, Brazil, Estonia, Canada, Great Britain, the USAand other countries took part in the contest.
The participants were to introduce their ecological projects and to defend them while their projects were exhibited on the stands.
Sergey Evtushenko from Mogilevtook a bronze medal in the section "Ecology and Biology". The title of his project was "The reaction of micro-flora of a room to synthetic washing products application".
Sergey told to the correspondent of the site that he wanted to find out which of the products was the most active. He came to the conclusion that washing products containing chlorine were the most effective. He also noted that most of the washing products used at our homes worked well, but we should change them from time to time.
This victory gives Sergey Evtushenko preferences to enter Russian Universities. But Sergey made his choice. He was a student of Mogilevregional Lyceum 1 and won the third prize at the final stage of Republican Olympics in Chemistry. He decided to enter BelarusianStateMedicineUniversityin Minskand to realize his dream - to become a doctor.
