Mogilev-based Servolux Private Unitary Enterprise (affiliated with Servolux LLC, USA) has completed the construction of Agrolink poultry farm in Bykhov, a company representative told Interfax.
In particular, there have been commissioned three new facilities, each containing three poultry yards. Each of the facilities cost the company BYR 3.5 billion, the source added.
At the moment Agrolink poultry farm embraces five poultry-breeding facilities (30-35 thousand chickens in each).
The farm is expected to satisfy the company's demand for hatchable eggs which makes 15 million eggs per year, the annual production capacity of the farm being 17 million eggs. The excess eggs will be sold both in Belarus and abroad, the source informed.
Servolux was set up in 1999 as a private trader and producer dealing in agricultural products and textiles.
The company imports basic materials for fodder production, breeding materials from Europe's large Agricultural Holding Company Nutreco (Netherlands).
Servolux also imports to Belarus swine-breeding technologies and facilities from Europe, mineral fertilisers and herbicides and insecticides from Russia.
