“Slovak symphony by the artists from Kavalchitsa”. It is the name of the exhibition that opened at the branch of the National Art Museum of Belarus “The museum of Vitold Byalynitski-Birulya”.
The ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Slovak Republic in Belarus Mariyan Servatka, the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Serbian Republic in Belarus Srecko Djukic, the representatives of Mogilev region and city administrations took part in the opening ceremony.
The exhibition came to Mogilev from Minsk. It introduces Mogilev citizens with the works by “Kavalchitsa School”. These works have been exhibited in native places and abroad – in Great Britain, France, Poland, and the USA. A Gallery of naïve art was created in Kavalchitsa. It unites local artists and carries out an active exhibition activity.
According to the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Slovak Republic in Belarus Mariyan Servatka, in spite of the fact that Slovak artists live in Serbia they haven’t lost the relations with their native country. They are respected and admired in both countries – Serbia and Slovak Republic.
