Mogilev Region Customs Service has done an impressive money-making job over the past seven years, earning BYR 808.6 million for the state budget, Interfax has learned from Mogilev Customs Press Service Chief Ella Chernova.
Over the period in question the regional customs agencies issued around 1.4 million customs declarations.
Currently Mogilev Region customs service embraces 10 customs checkpoints, including 7 motorway and two railway ones and one based at the local airport.
According to the source, 1,120 companies based in Mogilev Region are engaged in export and import. Their customs declaration needs are served by 15 customs agencies.
