Mogilev Region Customs Service has done an impressive money-making job in January-June 2007, earning BYR 760 million for the state budget, Interfax has learned from Mogilev Customs Vice Chief Lyudmila Sheverdak.
The customs service registered 246 violations of the customs code and seized several consignments of cigarettes, alcohol, car tyres, metals, domestic appliances and other commodities.
The source informed, in January-June Mogilev Customs registered and issued over 90,000 customs declarations, 13,700 export licences and 7,100 import licences.
Besides, Mogilev's Customs Office made up 38.5 thousand statistical declarations.
In addition, they issued 3,900 statistical export licences and 1,000 import licences.
