Mogilev-based Strommashina is going to make and export an automatic ceramic brick plant to Venezuela, a company representative told Interfax.
The plant will annually produce 25 million ceramic bricks and wall panesl, the source specified.
The plant's equipment is designed by Strommash scientific and technical centre, the company's subsidiary. The estimated project implementation term is two years.
Strommashina had delivered several similar sets of equipment with an annuall capacity of 20 million bricks to Russia, the source added.
Strommashina plant was founded in 1913. It is the CIS leading manufacturer of equipment for the production of construction materials and railway ties. The company also specialises in equipment and technological lines (over 40 titles) for producing ceramic and fire bricks, asbestos-cement products (roofing slates, pipes), soft roofing (ruberoid, glass-fibre mats), railway sleepers and pointwork sleepers, cement goods (paving slabs, curb stones). The plant employs about 2,500 people.
This year the company has monthly produced over BYR 5.5 billion worth of goods. Over 40% of the output has been exported.
