Student of Mogilev lyceum won “bronze” at Olympiad in physics in Mexico

Graduate of Mogilev state regional lyceum № 1 Mikhail Guschin won a “bronze” at 40th International Olympiad in physics in United Mexican States. According to lyceum director Peter Shilov, the winner who came to study in Mogilev from Klichev district, is reiterated winner of regional and republican olympiads in physics.

International Olympiad in physics for students of schools is annual competition among participants of different countries; it is considered to be the most authoritative competitions among others of the kind. It consists of 2 stages: theoretical (3 exercises) and experimental.

Mikhail Guschin hasn’t yet decided what university to apply to, being the winner of international Olympiad he is to enter Belarusian higher educational establishments on preferential terms. But he is sure to continue studying fundamental science.
