Students of Mogilev University of Foodstuff popularize Belarusian cuisine in Italy

The group of students of Mogilev University of Foodstuff went to Italy to have one-month training at the school of professional trade – Olga Mazikova, the senior lecturer of the department of Technology of Production and Organising Public Catering, told.

About 200 students from neighbouring district are trained to be cooks and waiters at the school; they are taught by the first class specialists known not only in Italy but in other countries as well. Mogilev students get theoretical knowledge and practical skills and study the diversity of foodstuffs grown in Italy, their usage in the cuisine, its peculiarities.

It is the host country that invited Mogilev students and provided them with financial support according to the terms of the agreement on cooperation between the Italian association and Mogilev regional executive committee. The Italians in their turn are interested in peculiarities of organizing public catering in Belarus.
