Mogilev State University named after Arcady Kuleshov opened the hall of rare editions. Teachers and students can work with the unique books and magazines dated by the 19th – the early 20th century. Information is provided by the director of the University library Liudmila Voronina.
The funds of the library keep bibliographical rarity: 2198 rare books, 1233 periodical press issues by the outstanding publishers and the most famous publishing houses of the 19th – the early 20th century. The library is proud to keep the books that are of the only copy. Among those rare books are “Divine Comedy” by Dante Alighieri with Gustave Doré's engravings (1874), “Lehrbuch der Religionsgeschichte (Handbook of the History of Religions” by Chantepie de la Saussaye (1910), “The Natural History of Plants” by Kerner von Marilaun (1901-1902), “The History of Freemasonry” by Findel.
