Technical innovations enabled Bobruiskagromash OJSC save 167 million in 2007, a company representative told Interfax.
Last year the company introduced 12 technical innovations that helped improve product quality, cut energy and labor costs and the prime cost of goods. As a result, Bobruiskagromash saved 71.2 tonnes of metal and 13,390 kWh of energy and cut labor costs by 3,810 standard hours, the source specified.
Bobruiskagromash was founded in 1974. Currently, it produces over 50 kinds of agricultural machines and aggregates for land cultivation and fodder processing.
The company also produces consumer goods, including car trailers, furniture accessories, school furniture, boilers.
The company employs around 2,500 people.
The enterprises prioritises quality and holds an ISO-9000-2001 quality management certificate.
In January 2008 Bobruiskagromash OJSC made BYR 10.9 billion worth of goods, or 1.6 times up on the year. Exports rose 1.4-fold to reach $1.8 million.
