The statistics makes it evident that there have been rapid growth in trade-economic relations between Russia and Mogilev region, - first deputy chairman of Mogilev region executive committee Vladimir Kravtsov told during his meeting with deputy chairman of the Russian Federation trade mission in the Republic of Belarus Anatoly Spiridonov.
The Russian Federation has traditionally been the major trade partner of Mogilev region. During January – September of 2010 exports to Russia have increased by 41.4% comparing to the respective period of the previous year and have reached $832.4 mln. Thus, it makes up 68% of the total exports of the region. “We hope for the same fruitful co-operation in future,” - deputy chairman added.
The Russian Federation has a wide distribution network of commodity produced in the region. Through this network by October 1, regional agricultural organisations sold meat and milk production for the sum of 9.9 mln. The Russian enterprises invest in a number of large-scale projects. “We hope that new Moscow government will let us continue construction of a trade centre in the eastern administrative area of the Russian capital, thus promoting further co-operation and developing trade relations”, - Vladimir Kravtsov made a request.
Deputy chairman of the Russian Federation trade mission in the Republic of Belarus Anatoly Spiridonov in his turn promised overall support and promotion in carrying out joint projects developing trade relations of Russia and Belarus.
