This new form of work is very essential - just in three hours the administration got an idea of the major problems to be considered and solved in the region's districts.
Some people complained about the same matters, and the head of the region urged the respective bodies to pay special attention to them and thoroughly consider the situation. "Civil servants' neglectful attitude to their duties must be thoroughly judged", the governor assured. "There should no be need in sending complaints to higher instances; all problems must be solved at the local level. And if the problem can't be solved at present, a person should receive clear explanation".
Some applications prove that public awareness campaign hasn't been done properly in the region. Among the problems should be mentioned the following: privatization of housing, cottage building co-operatives, etc.
Thirty-five citizens of Mogilev region managed to get the governor on the phone today. The majority of complaints deal with housing (repairing and privatization), territory beautification, pension provision, land arrangement, water purification, etc.
They are topical for the Belarusian population in general, Vladimir Domanevsky told in his interview. Luckily, there were no too burning issues that could lead to people's being close to despair. It means that such ones are solved by the respective authorities. The governor assured that this form of work with population will be constantly used, and today's calls will be thoroughly considered.
