A well-known Russian traveler Fyodor Konyukhov who has made 6 round-the-world trips put up the Worship Cross made at Bobruisk Art College on Gorn Cape.
According to Vasily Krichko, the director of Bobruisk art College, Fyodor Konyukhov visited the educational establishment on February,11. Here he studied in the 1970-s. A famous seafarer told the students about his future plans and new routes. He presented his books, photos to the college. At the same time the students of the college gave Fyodor a two-meter high worship Cross.
The Cross was consecrated by the senior priest of the Svyato-Nikolo-Sofiysky Church Dimitry Barkar. The cross was supposed to be put up on Gorn Cape to commemorate the deceased sailors. Now the Cross from Belarus will remind of thousands of brave sailors who died at the most dangerous sea point.
