Young musicians from three countries take part in Folk musical instruments contest

On March,23 Mogilev holds an open republican folk musical instruments contest named after Iosif Zhinovich, the outstanding Belarusian composer, national artist of the USSR, professor. Anatoly Kireichenko, the headmaster of Mogilev State Musical College named after N.Rimski-Korsakov told about it.

189 students of musical schools, arts schools, musical lyceums and colleges from Belarus, Russia and Lithuania will take part in the contest. A professional jury represented by well known teachers and musicians will judge the participants in 6 nominations: cymbals, bayan, guitar, accordion, domra, and balalaika.
