Youth parliament to be established in Mogilev

Youth parliament will be established at Mogilev City Council of Deputies. The information was provided by the chairman of the City Council of Deputies Fiodor Mikheenko.

The youth parliament representing all educational establishments of Mogilev will give us an opportunity to establish close feedback ties with the youth", Fiodor Mikheenko assured. "Thus, we'll organise the activities aimed at popularising the system of local management and self-management among young people, revealing leaders of youth movement, providing young people with opportunities to participate in developing and implementing city and district social programmes".

Every secondary, vocational and higher educational establishment will hold elections to the youth parliament. Every polling station will be represented in the parliament by one member. The election campaign will be held publicly and openly. The parliament's term of powers is two years. There will be 75 members in the youth parliament.
