Mogilev Region Administration is planning to alleviate the tax burden for industrial enterprises based in small towns, Vice Governor Nikolai Snopkov told Interfax-West on the eve of the investment forum that will be held in Mogilev October 9-10.
In his words, the decision applies to companies with at least 30% of foreign capital, the number of personnel under 60 and the annual output below BYR 6 billion.
Such companies will have to pay as few as 6 taxes (1.5% of the profit), if they are based in small towns.
Companies based in Mogilev Free Economic Area will pay 9 taxes (2.4%), Mogilev - 9 taxes (3%), rural areas - 8 taxes (2.8%).
These preferences are stipulated by presidential decrees No.1 and No.9, the source specified.
