The trade turnover between Mogilev Region and Russia totaled $999.4 billion in January-June 2008, Interfax learnt from the regional economy committee.

Exports rose by 39.2% on the year to reach $560.4 million. Imports grew $46.7% to make $439 million. As a result, the region ended the period with a surplus of $121.4 million in bilateral trade.
Most of the exports fell on tires, dairy products, elevators, chemical fibres and threads, electric engines, generators, trailers and semi-trailers. Imports mainly consisted of chemicals, rubber, construction materials, fish, pasta, sauces, juices, biscuits, etc.
Russia is the main trade partner of Mogilev Region with a share of 58.8% in the region's foreign trade.
