Alexander and Andrei Bogdanovich won silver medal at Olympic

Alexander and Andrei Bogdanovich, Olympic champions of 2008, won a silver medal at Olympics in London, thus having brought the tenth Olympic medal to the national team of the Republic of Belarus. They came the second in the men's canoe two (K2) clocking 3:25.206. The German canoe sprinters snatched gold, and the Russian team won bronze medals.

Governor Petr Rudnik congratulated the sportsmen with sports achievements that are of great value for both Mogilev region and the country.

Alexander (30 years old) and Andrei (24 years old) come from Elizovo village of Osipovichi district. The brothers are champions of Olympic Games-2008, as well as winners and prize-winners of World and Europe championships.
