The first stage of constructing a tourist recreation center “Zeleny gorodok” (“Green town”) in Mogilev district must be completed by May of 2012. The task was assigned by chairman of Mogilev region executive committee Petr Rudnik during his visit to the building ground.
The recreation center is situated 15 km from Mogilev on the way to Bobruisk near Saltanovka village. The investor of the project – a private unitary enterprise “LAF” – is noted for having restored many old buildings in Mogilev, for example those in Leninskaya street.
It is for the first time the organization tries out for implementing such a large-scale project – construction of a roadside service object. Since June of 2011 - the beginning of construction works - more than 10 wooden houses have been built, and Br2 bln has been spent. It will take about 5 years to complete all the four stages of the project implementing, general director of “LAF” Fiodor Kornev told.
According to the director, the tourist complex will consist of apartment houses accepting 50 guests, three bathhouses, a large swimming-pool, a fitness centre, as well as a sports ground for those preferring adventure holidays. A special ground for children will be equipped. The nearby territory will be cleaned and beautified, pavilions will be built and illuminated. The pontoon will accept up till 80 visitors; a restaurant and a hotel will be built at the bank of the river.
