May, 26 farmsteads of Mogilev region hold an open day for children from family type orphanages. The information is provided by the Physical Education, Sports and Tourism regional office.
In 2013 Mogilev region will create the tourist cluster “Krai Zhyvatvornyh Krynits”. The project will be realized by the initiative of the regional public council and under the auspices of the Federal German Government’s Program to assist Belarus.
A new tourist itinerary “U Bykhau da Bykha” has been worked out in Bykhov district. It will pass through Chigirinskoe water basin, Barkolabovo, Voronino and Grudinovka settlements.
Dribin district got a new farmstead not far from Trilesino agritownship. “Bogdanova Farmstead” is located in the picturesque lake area.
The farmstead provides various services to have a good rest: a summer café for 100 persons, a fisherman’s house. In the future the farmstead is expected to get a hotel complex, Russian baths, and a small zoo.

May, 19-20 the horse-riding trip Mogilev-Barkolabovo will be dedicated to the Agroecotourism Open Day. It is expected that a carriage coach for 6 persons will join the procession. The carriage coach was designed by the advert agency “Globus”. Participants of the procession are Mogilev citizens skilled in horse-riding, sportsmen, bard singers, mass media representatives.
March, 15 Mogilev holds a round table to discuss the region’s tourism and agro tourism brand. The information is provided by Victor Stepanov, the deputy head of the Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism Office of Mogilev Regional Executive Committee.
The first stage of constructing a tourist recreation center “Zeleny gorodok” (“Green town”) in Mogilev district must be completed by May of 2012. The task was assigned by chairman of Mogilev region executive committee Petr Rudnik during his visit to the building ground.
The first Public Council for agro-eco-tourism development was created in Bykhov (Mogilev region) by the Department for Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bykhov District Executive Committee.
Since 2006 Mogilev region has increased exports of services in tourist sphere 6-fold, - Vladimir Judko, the head of physical culture, sports and tourism department of Mogilev region executive committee, told at the IXth session of the regional Deputies Council, held on June 2. The session’s participants discussed development of tourist sphere in the region.
Two farmsteads of Mogilev district “U Knyazeva v Lyubuzhe” and “Usadba” are among winners of the contest “The Best Farmstead of the Year”. The results of the contest were announced at the 2d International Specialized Conference “Agroecotourism – present day and prospects of development”.
