Chaussy district to get humanitarian supply of $150 thousand from Canada

Two containers of humanitarian supply of $150 thousand were brought to Chaussy district by the Canadian delegation from Brockville. The aid, granted within the frameworks of “Canada’s help for Chernobyl victims” project, will be sent to the boarding school, Khatskovichi kindergarten, and the disabled children.

Japanese government allotted Mogilev oncologic dispensary a grant to buy equipment

Japanese government allotted the Mogilev regional oncologic dispensary the grant for $109 thousand to buy equipment. The grand is a part of Japanese government’s grand assistance program. The money is for buying ultra sound equipment. The Mogilev regional oncologic dispensary will be able to diagnose tumors and to puncture with ultra sound navigation.

S. Borodavko: Chernobyl catastrophe changed people’s lives but didn’t defeat them

Chernobyl catastrophe caused many problems of exceptional difficulty; it touched upon all spheres of people’s lives, changed but didn’t defeat them, - Stanislav Borodavko, the chairman of Mogilev city executive committee, told at today’s mourning meeting dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the explosion at Chernobyl Atomic Power Station.
