Mogilev opens the International Traditional Culture Forum

The concert Hall “Mogilev” held the opening ceremony of the forum “Traditional culture as a strategic resource of the stable development of the society”. The event included performances of singing and dancing groups from all the regions of Belarus.

The participants of the forum represent 12 countries: South Korea, Italy, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Slovakia, Estonia and others.

It is the first time when craftsmen from the Baltic countries have taken part in the event.

District centre of culture solemnly opened at Cherikov

The district centre of culture was solemnly opened at Cherikov on December 29. It will be a multifunctional social and cultual centre. There are 300 seats there. It may host concerts and other events, including film shows. There will also be conducted optional courses and hobby groups. It has enough room to house a library, billiard room, 2 coffee-bars.

Maslennikov.

Gorki created majorettes’ group

Public holidays in Gorli Township have become brighter and more interesting. The town has got a majorettes’ group which is to accompany the band’s show. A majorette is a person doing choreographed dance or movement, primarily baton twirling associated with marching bands during parades.
