This year Mogilev agrarians harvested more than 1.1 mln tons of crops, the chairman of Mogilev region executive committee Vladimir Domanevsky told during the ceremony of awarding the best agrarians held at Krugloye as a part of “Dozhinki-2015”, the Festival of harvest and agriculture workers.

More than 3 thous. tonnes of grain was harvested by harvester combine team of Victor Milto from JSC “Alexandriiskoe” of Shklov district. Denis Latypov, driver from “Alexandriiskoe”, transported more than 4 thousand tonnes of grain.
By August, 13 Mogilev region harvested 83% of grain crops and legumes, having gathered 1,079,000 tonnes of crops. The average crop yield in the region made 38.7 centers per hectare; Shklov, Krugloe and Mogilev districts are among the leaders.

According to agriculture and food supplies committee, Mogilev region reached 1,000,000 tons rate of grain output.
1 mln 5.36 thousand tons of crops has been harvested in the region by August 15; it stands for 36.3 centner per ha average crop capacity. 14.6 thousand ha (4.8%) was made yesterday.
By August 3, four districts of Mogilev region – Bobruisk, Glussk, Kirovsk, Osipovichi districts – harvested more than 50% of area under crops and legumes.
