This spring flood is likely to be lower usual mean intensity in Mogilev region. The information was provided by the head of hydrology department of Mogilev regional centre of hydrometeorology and environment monitoring named after O.Shmidt Inna Fileva.

26 people moved out from their underflooded houses in Shklov

17 houses, 18 outhouses and 4 country cottages have been underflooded in Shklov because of the increased water level in the Dnieper and the Serebryanka rivers, Mogilev region department of the MES informed.

A large-scale clearing of Mogilev region’s rivers is expected on March 25 – April 7, - Georgy Dolgin, a head of Mogilev region hydrology department of hydrometeorology and environment monitoring, told.
Still, every day there is 1-6 cm increase in water level of rivers. Thus, water level of the Dnieper river increases 1 – 5 cm every day.
