August 18-19 Mogilev holds the seminar on the questions of assisting human trafficking victims “Improving quality of social service provided for human trafficking victims with account of a gender aspect and a client’s trauma”. The information is provided by Andrei Nikitin, chairman of the regional Red Cross organization.
Mogilev Region Red Cross Organisation provides Ukrainian forced migrants with humanitarian aid. Whenever possible, the organization is providing clothes, footwear, bedlinen, personal hygiene products, long-lived foodstuffs, a correspondent of the site was told at the regional organisation.
The Belarusian Red Cross is organizes mobile stations for people to warm there. Bitter frosts have arrived in Belarus. Activists of the Red Cross are launching these mobile stations in all regional centres of the Republic. The stations will serve hot drinks, tinned food, disposable tableware, footwear, clothes. The needy will also get medical service.
Br50 mln was granted by the Red Cross Mogilev region organization for providing all volunteers at bus and railway stations of Mogilev, Bobruisk, Osipovichi, Krichev, Slavgorod, Shklov, Gorki, and other towns and administrative centres with hot tea, the head of the Red Cross Mogilev region organization Andrei Nikitin told.
According to the decision of the International Committee of the Red Cross (Geneva), Ljudmila Lelikova, a medical nurse of Mogilev regional organisation of the Belarusian Red Cross Society was awarded Florence Nightingale medal.
Ljudmila Lelikova was chosen among 39 candidates.
