Shklov opened a monument to the Soviet film star Petr Aleinikov. The ceremony was held with participation of the district authorities’ representatives, the actor’s family, public representatives, the youth. The information is provided by Sergey Artamonov, head of the ideology work, culture and youth’s affairs department.

Memorial to pilots-liberators may be built in Mogilev

A memorial to pilots perished in the battles with fascist invaders during the Great Patriotic War may be built in Mogilev.  The project was initiated by the famous TV presenter, People's artist of Russia, Leonid Yakubovich who partook in the XVIIth International Festival of animated films "Animayovka - 2014" summed up in the regional centre on September 21.

July 3 Bobruisk fortress opens the monument of courage and sorrow in memory of fascists’ victims. It is the site of common grave where war prisoners’ remains of the Great Patriotic War are buried.

Monument to internationalist warriors unveiled in Krichev

Golubaya Krynitsa in Slavgorod district suffers from people’s avidity

Golubaya Krynitsa (Blue Stream), a national monument of nature in Slavgorod district, is suffering from people’s avidity. The stream attracts a number of guests from all regions of Belarus and even from abroad. People say the water of the stream is able to heal. They also start taking clay from the stream. But healing properties of the clay have not been proved yet.
