Mogilev region’s market is filled with expensive imported vegetables grown in 2012. But soon the region will get local vegetables which will seriously reduce the prices. The information is provided by Irina Lakhadynova, the chief of the Antimonopoly and Price Policy Office of Mogilev regional administration.
Sunflower oil of the Belarusian production at reasonable price will be on offer in Mogilev region’s shops in early May. The price is likely to be Br 13,000 or a bit less.
A system of special cards for pensioners has been introduced at the largest shops of the regional centre. To join “Loyalnost” action a pensioner should show his / her pension certification and process necessary documents. Thus, a pensioner gets opportunity to save about 3% of a purchase cost.
“Myasnoi prilavok” (“Meat counter”) fair was held near the Palace of Culture of the Region on November 19-20; customers had opportunity to buy meat and diary products produced by different enterprises of the region.
Trade allowance for locally produced school foot wear must not exceed 25%. According to the recommendations given by Petr Rudnik, the chief of Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, regional trade organizations must cut prices for this category of goods. The information is provided by the Regional Department for Trade and Services.
The regional authorities requested to widen assortment of products for low-income population. The list of the products includes: low-fat milk, cottage cheese, liver sausages, and by-products.
OJSC “Babushkina Krynka” started production of 1%-fat milk. It is already sold at all largest shops and supermarkets of Mogilev.
At the same time such milk contains the same amount of calcium and vitamins, and it contains even more protein than usual milk. Besides, 1%-fat milk is cheaper.
Mogilev’s Central Department Store launched a discount system for privileged population groups: invalids of the first and second groups, pensioners who live in Mogilev. The discount system was introduced at the grocery.
