Cuba and the Belarusian city of Mogilev are interested in setting up a joint enterprise to produce lifts together. The statement was made by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cuba to Belarus Alfredo Nieves Portuondo at the meeting with the Chairman of Mogilev City Executive Committee Vladimir Tsumarev.
Belarus governmental delegation’s official visit to Kazakhstan led by Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich resulted in signing a number of new agreements on cooperation and making new contracts.
“Mogilevliftmash” started production of elevators for the disabled having been designed within the frameworks of implementing the state programme of providing barrier free facilities for the handicapped.
“Mogilevliftmash” Company designed lifts with side doors. The design was forced by the necessity to reduce the width of the shaft without changing lift car capacity. The company has already got test protocols and certificates, launched production process.
“Mogilevliftmash” has got the right for using the National Olympic Committee’s logos. The enterprise can mark equipment it produces with the logo “Olympic quality”.
“Besides, Mogilevliftmash’s logo will be included into the booklet that will be published for the coming Olympic games in London”, - the head of Vadim Panchenko. – “To partake in the contest an enterprise presents the production items that enjoy the highest popularity. Only the winner of the contest gets the right for using the National Olympic Committee’s logos. Consumers have much more confidence for such goods.”
RUE “Mogilevliftmash” started production of passenger elevators for the disabled, general director of the plant Anatoly Tjukov informed.
“This product innovation is designed for transportation of passengers in invalid carriages; they may be installed in dwelling houses, underground railways, medical establishments, - Anatoly Tjukov remarked.
