New works producing folding furniture is to be set up by Mogilev “Olsa” this year, the source at the enterprise informed. The enterprise has signed the contract with the Italian firm for delivering a high-volume production line and eight assembly stands. The capacity of the automated manufacturing will make up about 40,000 items a month.
JSC ‘OLSA’ (Mogilev) started production of anti-vandals mail boxes. The new item has been worked out within the frameworks of implementing import substitution programme, and has been financed by investors.
Minsk announced the results of the yearly competition “Man of the Year”. This year the applicants were 150 heads of national enterprises. Only 12 of them became the best managers of Belarus. It is nice to know that three representatives of Mogilev region’s enterprises became laureates of “Man of the Year”.
Over six months 2011 (January-June) Mogilev “Olsa” Company increased its export by 40.3% comparing with the same period 2010 (over$7. 5mln). The information is provided by Vladimir Shutov, the chief of the Marketing Department of the company.
RUE “Olsa” increased its exports by 30% in January-April comparing with the respective period of the previous year. Thus, the plant’s exports reached $4 mln., Vladimir Shutov, head of marketing department, informed.
RUE «Olsa» started series manufacturing of medical beds for children, -Vladimir Shutov, the head of marketing and sales department of the enterprise, told.
Within the programme of substituting imported goods with the similar Belarusian ones Olsa’s specialists has designed “Maljutka” and “Anjutka” medical beds for children aged 2 – 5.
